The Guide provides listings in Richmond and surrounding Central and South Central Virginia of reasonably affordable complexes and rental homes, public housing, and section 8 properties and can be very useful during a housing search. The Guide also gives good information to help you along the way such as: fair housing information, tips for tenants, crime prevention tips, apartment check-in procedures, and many referral sources. You can get a copy of the Affordable Housing Guide by downloading it from this site now or you can stop by our offices at 700 E. Franklin St., Richmond, VA 23219 to pick up a hard copy free of charge.
- Superior Tenant Workshops that provide information on all aspects of renting and will help you learn how to be the kind of tenant every landlord looks for. It will also help you make sure that you are not being taken advantage of or treated unfairly. This workshop discusses many common rental issues such as:
- Finding a Place to Rent
- Your Rental Rights and Responsibilities
- Managing Your Finances
- How to spot housing discrimination in your search for housing
- How to find affordable rentals
- And much more.
