HOME presents Fair Housing Trends Report 2000-2009

This report examines more than 1,300 fair housing complaints filed with the Virginia Fair Housing Office (VFHO) from 2000 through 2009 in order to better understand the landscape of housing discrimination in our communities so we can better address those areas of concern.

City of Richmond - Neighborhood Stabilization Program - HOMES FOR SALE

The City of Richmond has been allocated $2 million in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to address foreclosed and abandoned properties in three neighborhoods: Highland Park, Southern Barton Heights, and Church Hill. Marketing and sale of properties will be provided to income qualified households for home ownership at a price consistent with program guidelines. Down payment and closing cost incentives will be available to qualified households seeking home ownership. The following properties are currently for sale: 822, 824, & 826 N. 27th Street.

City of Richmond Residents to receive helpful mail

City of Richmond residents may soon received one of these two mailings. How to Help Yourself Avoid Foreclosure helps homeowners know how to avoid foreclosure and spot and report loan scams. A Guide to Protecting Your Housing Rights helps residents learn about identifying and reporting housing discrimination.
